Welcome to Hair Design By Shane! 

 

Although this Salon is brand new, my expertise with hair is not. I have been cutting, styling, coloring… and just have been fascinated with hair for most of my life.

 

Under the guidance of my parents, I was encouraged to follow my passion into the hair industry. I began as an intern at a high end salon in Ventura County.

 

I continued taking educational training throughout my career with high end institutions such as Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica California, as well as classes in New York City, where my focus was on hair cutting techniques with Bumble + Bumble ( Bb®), and receiving color certification with Schwarzkopf Professional.

 

I have been the “Go To” person in the salon I worked at for 13 years…for training of new stylists, interns in their stylist technique of angles in cuts, and formulations in color. I cherished my time there, but am so excited to venture out on my own and am excited to have you along on the journey with me.
